Welcome to Padelo Australia — we’re thrilled to have you on the court! Before you jump in, please take a moment to read our terms and conditions: by using our website or booking services you agree to them. We keep things straightforward but comprehensive to protect everyone and make sure your padel experience is safe, fair and enjoyable.

1. Our Services

Padelo Australia offers the following services through our website and booking platforms:

Membership sign-ups
Court bookings
Event and tournament registrations
Retail services for Padel-related gear and equipment
Coaching sessions and other related services

You’re welcome to explore our offerings and make bookings via the Playtomic booking software.

2. Bookings and Cancellations

We get it, life happens. But when it comes to booking your court time, we need to keep things fair for everyone:

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled booking, Padelo Australia reserves the right to forfeit your payment. This helps us manage the court schedule and ensures no one misses out.
Refunds: Refunds are only issued for cancellations made more than 24 hours before your booking. No-shows and late cancellations won’t be refunded, so please plan accordingly.
Rescheduling: Want to reschedule? No problem! Just do so more than 24 hours in advance, and we’ll get you sorted with a new time slot.

3. Payments

All payments for bookings, memberships, and events are processed via:

Playtomic Booking Software
Invoice or payment links provided by Padelo

By making a booking, you agree to pay the listed fees, and your payment must be completed at the time of booking. We may refuse any booking or membership at our discretion.

4. Good Behavior Policy

We’re all here to have fun, stay fit, and enjoy Padel! With that in mind, we ask all our members and visitors to follow a few basic rules of conduct:

Respect others: Whether you’re on or off the court, please treat fellow players, staff, and visitors with respect. We’re all part of the same community.
Sportsmanship: No unsportsmanlike conduct will be tolerated. Let’s keep the game friendly!
Cleanliness: Help us keep the courts and facilities clean. Use trash bins, keep food and drinks in designated areas, and tidy up after yourself.
Safety first: Always follow the safety guidelines provided by Padelo staff. Failure to do so could result in removal from the premises.

If these rules aren’t followed, we reserve the right to ask you to leave and/or suspend your membership or booking privileges.

5. User-Generated Content

We love to see you having a great time, and you might want to share your experience by posting photos, reviews, or videos. By sharing content related to Padelo (through social media, reviews, or other platforms), you give us the right to share, repost, or use your content in our marketing efforts. Don’t worry—we’ll always give you credit!

6. Limitation of Liability

Assumption of Risk

By participating in activities offered by Padelo Bulimba Pty Ltd OR Padelo Easts Pty Ltd (depending on club location), including but not limited to playing Padel, attending events, using the facilities, or partaking in any services provided, the participant acknowledges and agrees that these activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, or other harm. The participant voluntarily assumes all risks associated with such activities and agrees that Padelo Bulimba Pty Ltd OR Padelo Easts Pty Ltd (depending on club location), its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates (hereinafter referred to as “Released Parties”) shall not be liable for any such injury, damage, or harm.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants, visitors, members, and any other individuals who access the premises or engage in services provided by Padelo Bulimba Pty Ltd OR Padelo Easts Pty Ltd (depending on club location) hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or harm sustained on the premises, during participation in activities, or as a result of using services provided by Padelo Bulimba Pty Ltd OR Padelo Easts Pty Ltd (depending on club location).

Exclusion of Warranties

The services and facilities provided by Padelo Bulimba Pty Ltd OR Padelo Easts Pty Ltd (depending on club location) are offered on an “as is” basis without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Padelo Bulimba Pty Ltd OR Padelo Easts Pty Ltd (depending on club location) makes no warranty that its services or facilities will meet your requirements or that participation in its activities will result in any specific outcomes, including fitness or health improvements.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Padelo Bulimba Pty Ltd OR Padelo Easts Pty Ltd (depending on club location), its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or any other intangible losses arising out of or in connection with the use of or inability to use the services or facilities of Padelo Bulimba Pty Ltd OR Padelo Easts Pty Ltd (depending on club location), even if Padelo Bulimba Pty Ltd OR Padelo Easts Pty Ltd (depending on club location) has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Furthermore, the total liability of Padelo Bulimba Pty Ltd OR Padelo Easts Pty Ltd (depending on club location) for any direct damages shall not exceed the amount paid by the participant, member, or visitor for the specific service or activity that gave rise to the claim.

Indemnification

Participants, members, and visitors agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

Participation in activities provided by Padelo Bulimba Pty Ltd OR Padelo Easts Pty Ltd (depending on club location),
Breach of any terms or conditions set forth herein,
Any actions, behaviors, or conduct while on the premises of Padelo Bulimba Pty Ltd OR Padelo Easts Pty Ltd (depending on club location),
The use of any information, materials, or services provided by Padelo Bulimba Pty Ltd OR Padelo Easts Pty Ltd (depending on club location).

Exclusion of Liability for Third-Party Services

Padelo Bulimba Pty Ltd OR Padelo Easts Pty Ltd (depending on club location) may work with or refer participants to third-party service providers, including booking platforms, coaches, or event organizers. Padelo Bulimba Pty Ltd OR Padelo Easts Pty Ltd (depending on club location) shall not be liable for any injury, damage, or harm arising from services provided by such third parties, including but not limited to injuries sustained during coaching sessions or events run by external entities. Participants engage with such third-party services at their own risk.

Applicable Law and Severability

These Terms and Conditions, including the Limitation of Liability, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia. If any provision of this section or these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision shall be severed, and the remainder of the Terms and Conditions shall continue to be enforceable.

Waiver of Claims

By entering the premises or participating in any activities, participants, members, and visitors waive any claims or rights to assert any action against the Released Parties for any injury, damage, or loss sustained in connection with the use of the premises or services provided by Padelo Bulimba Pty Ltd OR Padelo Easts Pty Ltd (depending on club location). This waiver extends to all claims of any kind, whether based on contract, tort, statutory, or other legal theories.

7. Memberships

At Padelo, we offer two membership tiers - Free Membership and Advantage Membership - each with unique benefits to enhance your Padel experience. By signing up for either membership, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Free Membership

The General Membership is designed for members who prefer flexibility with at no monthly membership cost (court costs are paid) while still enjoying great benefits.

No payment: Free membership comes at no monthly cost or contract. However, full court hire fees apply.
Off-Peak Court Hire: General Members are entitled to court hire during off-peak hours.
Discounted Peak-Time Court Hire: Members on the free membership won't enjoy discounted court hire fees during peak hours.
Social Padel Discounts: Play socially but Free members won't enjoy discounted entry to events, socials and tournaments like Advantage members.
Early Court Booking: General Members enjoy the ability to book courts 7 days in advance, while non-members only get a 10-day advance booking window.
Exclusive Events and Tournaments: Free members gain access to events, tournaments, and other events, but won't enjoy early access with discounted booking for these like Advantage members.
Flexible Cancellation: Free members can cancel court bookings up to 24 hours in advance without any penalties.
Non-Transferable: Free memberships are non-transferable and cannot be shared or transferred to another person.

Advantage Membership

The General Membership is designed for members who want priority booking as well as discounted prices and early access to events and socials with an affordable monthly payment.

Monthly Payment: General Memberships are billed at $50 per month, paid via the method selected during sign-up. This fee is charged on a recurring monthly basis and is non-refundable once processed.
Free Off-Peak Court Hire: General Members are entitled to discounted court hire (15% off) during off-peak hours.
Discounted Peak-Time Court Hire: You’ll save 15% on court hire during peak hours compared to non-members.
Social Padel Discounts: Play socially for at a discount of 15% versus non-member pricing.
Early Court Booking: Advantage Members enjoy the ability to book courts 10 days in advance, while non-members only get a 7-day advance booking window.
Exclusive Events and Tournaments: Members gain access to discounted events, tournaments, and shootouts, with priority booking for these events.
Flexible Cancellation: Members can cancel court bookings up to 24 hours in advance without any penalties.
Non-Transferable: Like the Free Membership, Advantage Memberships are non-transferable and cannot be shared or transferred to another person.

Membership Cancellations and Renewals

Cancellations: You can cancel your membership at any time, but refunds will not be issued for any previously charged membership fees. To cancel, please notify us at harry@padelo.com.au. Your membership will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Non-Refundable: All membership fees, both Free and Advantage, are non-refundable once charged, unless otherwise required by law.
Renewals: Advantage Memberships automatically renew monthly, and the membership fee will continue to be charged unless cancelled.

Termination of Membership

Padelo reserves the right to terminate any membership, whether Free or Advantage, if any of the following occurs:

Violation of Terms: Breach of these terms or other facility policies.
Misconduct: Inappropriate behaviour, damage to property, or actions that disturb the experience of other members or visitors.

In the event of termination, no refund will be provided.

Liability Limitation for Members

While we strive to provide a safe and enjoyable Padel environment, members acknowledge that participation in sporting activities involves risk. Padelo will not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that occur while using our facilities. Members participate at their own risk, and are encouraged to follow all safety guidelines.

We respect your privacy and protect your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please check it out to learn how we collect, use, and protect your data.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Things change, and we might need to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. If we do, we’ll make sure to update them here. Your continued use of our site and services means you agree to any changes.
